  • Wingate University offers more than 40 undergraduate majors and offers degrees in bachelor of arts, bachelor of science, bachelor of music education, bachelor of fine arts, bachelor of liberal studies, master of business administration, master of arts in education, master of arts in physical education, master of arts in teaching, master of physician assistant studies, doctor of pharmacy and doctorate in educational leadership.
  • The Institution offers degree programs based on at least 60 semester credit hours or the equivalent at the associate level; at least 120 semester credit hours or the equivalent at the baccalaureate level; or at least 30 semester credit hours or the equivalent at the post-baccalaureate, graduate, or professional level. The institution provides a written justification and rationale for program equivalency.
  • The Wingate University Academic Resource Center (ARC) is dedicated to helping students meet their academic goals. Within the ARC, students will find the offices of Academic Advising, the Wingate 101 program, disability services and the tutoring program. Students are encouraged to make use of the many services available through the ARC.
  • The Writing Center at Wingate University strives to help students, faculty, staff, and alumni grow into better writers. The focus is on the individual writer and his or her needs; the goal is to encourage them to become “better, more confident writers” rather than simply producing “better writing.”
  • Wingate University is located 35 miles east of Charlotte, N.C. off U.S. Highway 74. The University entrance is on the left, after the second stoplight, in the town of Wingate, N.C.
  • Wingate is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
