  • We offer two-year Associate's degrees, four-year Bachelor's degrees, and a Master's degree in Education that can be completed in as few as three summers.
  • We have over 35 majors, with varying emphases within many of the majors. We offer pre-professional programs that can help you to focus your academic experience toward a specific career goal. We also offer off-campus study programs that can broaden your academic experience beyond the confines of the classroom.
  • The campus life involves dozens of clubs and activities, from choir, band and student government to drama, academic and social clubs.
  • Dordt College is located in Sioux Center, a small community in Northwest Iowa. Sioux Center is 45 miles north of Sioux City, Iowa, and 55 miles southeast of Sioux Falls, SD.
  • Dordt College is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools as a four-year bachelor-degree-granting institution. Our accreditation dates from 1971 with the most recent renewal in 2001. In 1994 the college also gained approval from NCA to offer a graduate program leading to the Master of Education degree. Dordt College also has accredited programs in education, social work, and engineering.
  • For the 14th year running, Dordt College was again named as a top Midwest College in U. S. News and World Report’s annual list of “America’s Best Colleges.”
