Founded in 1840 by the Sisters of Providence, the College boasts an enrollment of approximately 1,700 students in campus-based, undergraduate distance-learning, and graduate programs. Besides the College, Saint Mary-of-the-Woods is common ground for the Sisters of Providence, Woods Day Care/Pre-School, Providence Center and the White Violet Center for Eco-Justice.
  • Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College also offers four masters programs, open to both women and men, in theexternal degree format.
