The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford (Pitt-Bradford), established in 1963, is a comprehensive four-year undergraduatecampus of the University of Pittsburgh. - Outdoor recreational opportunities are plentiful near Bradford. The Allegheny Reservoir and theAllegheny State Park are excellent for boating, hiking, camping, swimming, and fishing. Cross-country skiing is a popularsport in the area during the winter, and fine downhill ski slopes are minutes away (Holiday Valley, Kissing Bridge).
