St. Andrews is a four year liberal arts and sciences college in the Sandhills Region of North Carolina. We are known for innovation and academic excellence in an unparalleled interdisciplinary curriculum which is primarily discussion based with small group activities and projects rather than lecture-style classes. The student-faculty ratio averages 13:1 and your professors know you by name. The College has a study abroad program on three continents, an award-winning pipe band, a six-time national champion equestrian team, 16 NCAA Division II athletic teams, a state of the art Electronic Fine Arts Center, multi-media art facilities, and a multi-disciplinary science lab the size of a soccer arena! St. Andrews is residency required, with about 750 students on campus, hailing from 40 of the 50 states and 8 foreign countries, creating a wonderfully diverse and exciting student body.

Student activitiesavailable outside of class include weekend excursions for white water rafting, beach trips or deep-sea fishing. Rock climbingcompetitions, intramural sports, Saturday night bands, Ultimate Frisbee and Ultimate Golf, water polo and holiday parties aresome of the weekend activities planned by the Student Activities Union. And! There are over 40 student clubs andorganizations waiting for you to join.
