  • The college campus is ideal, wooded hilltop setting is one of only two campuses in the country listed entirely on the National Register of Historic Places. There are 42 buildings on 129 acres. Cole Library is also the Mount Vernon public library, making it one of only two such libraries in the country.

More than 40 academic majors and pre-professional programs and an individualized major students design to meet specific goals and interests. Top majors includes Psychology, Education, Economics and Business, English, Art, History, Physical Education, Individualized majors, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and Politics.
  • Pre-Professional programs are offered in Medicine, Law, Dentistry, Medical Technology, Nursing/Allied Health Services, Social Work/Human Services, Education, Architecture, Engineering and Forestry and Environmental Management.
