The Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico is an institution of higher education. It is a coeducational, non-profit organization having close bonds with the Catholic Church of Puerto Rico. Its main purpose is to serve Puerto Rico as a university and a Catholic institution. Among the Faculty there are religious men and women and laypeople graduates of leading universities of the world, thus making its universal dimension possible. Located at the crossroads of North and South America, the University attempts to establish a dialogue between the two cultures.

  • The Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico offers academic programs in three geographical areas. They are the Ponce Campus and the two Branch Campuses at Arecibo and Mayagüez. Courses are also offered at the Extension in Guayama, Coamo, Adjuntas, Santa María and Alabama.
