School Notes:

  • Limestone College is a private, coeducational liberal arts college. Founded in 1845, our campus is a unique combination of history and progress, with about half of our campus buildings included on the National Register of Historic Places. In fact, two of our student residence halls are in renovated historic buildings -- and include Internet access and cable in each room.
  • The 17 majors that Limestone College offers function within the framework of four different divisions: Arts and Letters, Natural Sciences, Social and Behavioral Sciences, and Professional Studies. Limestone College offers the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, and Associate of Arts degrees. Our student/faculty ratio is 13:1 so, unlike larger institutions, your faculty will know your name, understand your strengths and weaknesses, discover what makes you unique, and help you grow.
  • Limestone, a NCAA Division II member, offers intercollegiate competition for men in soccer, basketball, baseball, lacrosse, golf, cross country, and tennis, and for women in volleyball, basketball, softball, tennis, soccer, swimming, cross country, wrestling, and lacrosse. An Olympic-size pool is available for recreational use.
