School Notes:
- Established in 1963, the college operates with three schools - the School of Business, the School ofProfessional Studies and the School of Letters, Arts and Sciences. The college awards bachelor of science, bachelor of artsand bachelor of fine arts degrees. Students choose from 51 majors, 79 minors and 2,800 courses, more than 300 academicoptions, certicates in 30 career fields, and teacher licensure programs in early childhood, elementary, secondary and specialeducation.
- A fully accredited, four-year institution, Metropolitan State College of Denver serves more than21,000 students. Metro State consistently educates more in-state undergraduates than any other state institution and now hasthe second-largest undergraduate student population in Colorado.
